Democrats Are Afraid of the Truth About Benghazi

Any way you slice it, Benghazi was a screw up of epic proportions.  Four Americans were murdered, a U.S. diplomatic mission was breached, and our ambassador to the United Nations went on 5 morning talk shows to say a You Tube video triggered the attack when, as we have seen, the CIA knew differently before their memo was altered by the State Department.

So now that the mainstream media is finally taking a look at what Conservatives knew all along was a scandal, the Democrats are not going to be interested in finding the truth, seeking justice for 4 dead Americans but, instead, protecting their president and their future president: Hillary Clinton:

A top GOP critic pushed back Sunday on charges that Republican efforts to investigate last year’s Benghazi attack are designed to inflict political damage on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Senate Intelligence Committee chair Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat, said on Meet the Press that Issa’s panel has deliberately put Clinton’s ambitions in its crosshairs.

“My concern is when Hillary Clinton’s name is mentioned 32 times in a hearing, then the point of the hearing is to discredit the Secretary of State, who has very high popularity and may well be a candidate for president,” Feinstein said.

It’s about keeping your eye on the 2016 ball.

And that’s a sad thing.  Evidence suggests that U.S. ambassador, Chris Stevens, was ordered to go to Benghazi and make sure the diplomatic mission was open there on September 11th.  It was a political move on behalf of the U.S. State Department:

Ambassador Stevens’ reason for going to Benghazi has been cleared up. Hicks testified that Ambassador Stevens traveled to Benghazi to fulfill one of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s wishes. Despite the fact that security was worsening in Benghazi for months leading up to the 9-11 attack, Clinton wanted to make the post there permanent. Her State Department had denied repeated requests from the U.S. team in Libya to upgrade security there, but she wanted to use the permanent post as a symbol of goodwill. Stevens was committed to that goal and told Clinton he would “make it happen.”

Dying’s for the “little people” and the Democrats are going to do everything they can to make sure none of the “big people” suffer one bit because of Benghazi.
