The Most Surprising Thing from the Benghazi Testimony? The Obama Administration Is That Predictable

Posted on May 8 2013 - 9:48pm by Harrison

Benghazi was a terrorist attack.  The September 11th murders of 4 Americans in Libya wasn’t about some You Tube video and the Obama administration did apparently leave those people out there to die.  They did apparently conceal the truth and they did think we’d be stupid enough to believe them.

And anybody who thought things would be different is, quite frankly, an idiot.

From PJ Media’s 7 Things We Learned from the Benghazi Whistleblower Hearing:

  • Special operations forces were told, twice, by their chain of command not to board aircraft to Benghazi to rescue the Americans then under attack.
  • Hicks testified that Ambassador Stevens traveled to Benghazi to fulfill one of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s wishes. Despite the fact that security was worsening in Benghazi for months leading up to the 9-11 attack, Clinton wanted to make the post there permanent.
  • Hicks also testified that he was shocked when Ambassador Susan Rice blamed a YouTube movie for inspiring the 9-11 attack. He testified that he had briefed Secretary Clinton directly via phone at 2 a.m. and told her that Benghazi was a terrorist attack.
  • Whistleblowers were intimidated into silence.
  • Hicks directly testified that the YouTube movie, for which a man remains in jail, was not in any way relevant to the attack in Benghazi.
  • Democrats were uninterested in getting at most of the facts, but were very interested in destroying Mark Thompson.

Four Americans died that day and only a moron would have believed anything the Obama administration said.

This is pretty sad stuff.  The Obama administration turns a blind eye – even while it’s happening – to Islamic terrorism.  They send Americans into a hot zone for political purposes and don’t even back them up.  They then try and cover it up, lie about it, or change the subject.  Then we hear so much time has passed it’s not important anymore.

Sadly predictable and pathetic.

Absolutely despicable Harrison! To think we put these people in harm’s way knowing the situation was worsening and then didn’t even have their backs when it all went bad is beyond disgusting! This should have already brought Obama down and the fact that it hasn’t yet tells me he is going to get away with this.

What’s worse is the press has his back.

What is even more pathetic is the number of Americans who are not aware of what happened in Benghazi and the number of Americans who do know, but simply do not care. As you said, it is pathetic.

I am dismayed that so few of my non-blogging conservative friends are not discussing Benghazi-gate! The apathy does not bode well for the future of our republic.

Hillary Clinton “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Well, Mrs. Clinton, it matters because the American people have been lied to about the cause of the attacks.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney “Let’s be clear. Benghazi happened a long time ago.”

Aurora and Sandy Hook were “a long time ago” too, but that didn’t stop Pres. Obama from using those incidents to push for a new, ineffective gun control bill did it?

(Both quotes from recent CNN stories)

I can’t believe these statements haven’t gotten more attention. Can you imagine the press’s histrionics if this happened during a Republican administration, and these comments had been made?

Instead-“Nothing to see here folks, move along, move along.”

The White House is so full of crap and, by extension, so are the press. Those 4 Americans died for nothing and their deaths might go unpunished.

WELL, IT MATTERS TO ME! I will do all I can to inform people and direct my actions to the uncaring even if I should lose some friendships! Because, when considering those non-thinking, uncaring people….WHAT DIFFERNCE DOES IT MAKE (to use a recent comment from our former SoS)….
