Washington Redskins Win the NFL East: It’s About Friggin’ Time!!

Posted on Dec 30 2012 - 11:13pm by Harrison

A Redskins/Cowboy game… is there anything better than when the Skins win against their arch enemy?

I have many fond memories of attending Redskins games at RFK with the guy who yelled “Co beer… co beer… co beer!!!” for hours on end.  Or when Joe Theismann would lead the team to the endzone and the tiny, 55,000 seat stadium was so loud he would spread his arms wide and ask for quiet so he could make a big play.

And for the first time since 1999 the Redskins win the NFC East.

They haven’t been to the Superbowl since 1991!

For the past 20-some years it’s been the Deadskins.

Could they… would they… win it all?

I hope they do…

Run or pass and score — we want a lot more!

Beat ’em, Swamp ’em,

Touchdown! — Let the points soar!

Fight on, fight on ‘Til you have won

    Go, Redskins!

I didn’t stay up to watch the game last night. But I got up very early this morning to hear the wonderful news.

Happy New Year to all here at Capitol Commentary.

If my pitiful Chargers cannot go, and the traitor Rams moved to St Louis, then Hail Redskins!

As CarMike would say, “We’re better than dallass, we have better fans than dallass, HTTR! Let’s see what kind of atmosphere FedEx can produce!”

Those boys played for Old DC last night. And how ’bout AlMo?! He is a Big Stud. BEAST.
