With the use of a $1 billion slush fund, the IRS is going to hire 500 agents to enforce the “must carry health insurance” portion of Obamakare. If you don’t have insurance from your employer, buy it from the Government, or pay a non-healthcare coverage fee, the Government will go after you and make you pay for your arrogance of not being part of the Obamakare mandate!
What greater loss of freedom can there be than falling under the thumb of your Government for not buying something?
Isn’t it odd how all of the warm and cozy words from Barack Obama and his Democratic allies somehow didn’t discuss the enforcement part of the healthcare law?
That’s because Americans would never stand for their Government demanding they carry health insurance.
And so with 500 IRS agents going after ordinary Americans, a further 300 will be in charge of talking to the poor and getting their permission to sign them onto Obamakare.
We wonder how many people can be fattened off the teet of the worker who actually produces something, pays their taxes, and funds the massive social programs Democrats love so much.
With an ever expanding State forcing, under penalty of law, the “compliance” of every man, woman, and child in the nation will there be a revolt?
Obamakare might be the law but it doesn’t come into force until next year (even though the IRS expansion will begin now) and it hasn’t even been judged to be Constitutional yet.
But before you can wage war you must build an army. That is what the IRS hiring spree is: raising an army.
But these minor trivialities are but a mere inconvenience to the Big Government Liberals in the White House and Congress.
They will use carrot or stick to corral people into the socialized healthcare scheme that is their dream.
But if this law really was so peachy why would a $1 billion slush fund be needed? Why would 500 IRS agents need to be hired to force people to take part in it? And why wasn’t all of this disclosed when it was being sold to the American public?
Because to steal someone’s freedom you must do it quietly, that’s why.
