George Zimmerman: Black and White Violence

Posted on Mar 26 2012 - 1:00am by Harrison

George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin and, since that event the predictable outrage has worked its way through the media which is providing the method to conduct more violence.

Since the shooting, a $10,000.00 bounty (to be increased to $1 million later this week) has been placed on Zimmerman’s head by the New Black Panther party and black director Spike Lee did the right thing (by his twisted logic) and then re-broadcast Zimmerman’s address via his Twitter account.

Here’s the wanted poster from the NBP party:

Dead or Alive?

It should be remembered that the New Black Panther party was blocking access to a voting location but the Department of Justice let that one slide…

Of course the predictable black chorus of vultures set in with people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson “weighing in” on the matter there have been an incredible number of death threats via Twitter.  President Obama even said if he had a son he would have looked like Martin.

The last time Obama decided to weigh in on some hot crime was when Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (Black) was arrested by a policeman (White) and the issue of racism came up again in much the same way (there was none).

With the snowball building, a recent prayer rally in Florida where the shooting occurred ended with the all-too-typical chants of “No justice, no peace.”

Zimmerman is afraid for his life and, as is usually the case, people calling for “justice” probably won’t feel responsible if that means someone else getting murdered.

Zimmerman himself is a typically American pastiche of ethnicities.  “Zimmerman” sounds Jewish and one parent is white while the other is Latin.  His family claims there are black family members and Zimmerman looks like a racial mutt so it’s not as clear as someone named Peter Allen Whentworth IV gunning down Tyrell Washington in cold blood while sporting a “Don’t Re-Nig” tee shirt.

But the dogs of war don’t care for facts, they want social power.

They want blood.

And dolts like Geraldo Rivera are saying Martin was murdered because he looked suspicious due to wearing a hoodie.

So it’s not clear why Zimmerman felt the need to confront Martin after the 9-11 operator recommended him letting police handle things.  Maybe Zimmerman didn’t like black kids, maybe he was overzealous in his neighborhood watch duties, maybe, maybe, maybe.

Point is… nobody knows.

And former Florida governor Jeb Bush has even said that he didn’t think the law by which Zimmerman was supposedly legally covered by, Stand Your Ground, covered his actions (Bush signed that bill into law).

So all of this furor as various minority groups struggle for power and the bragging rights of saying “we got whitey.”

And that’s even if “whitey” (Zimmerman) is half Hispanic.

Whatever it’s close enough.

The media is more than happy to report on this incident meanwhile the story of a 13 year old white boy who had gasoline poured on him and was set on fire by two blacks is ignored (the story happened at about the same time):

A 13-year-old boy who police say was doused with gasoline and lit on fire last week while walking home from school is recovering from first-degree burns to his face and head.

Police have described the suspects as black 16-year-olds, while the victim is white.

“They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open,” Coon told KMBC. “(One of them) poured the gasoline, then flicked the Bic, and said, ‘This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy.'”

Where are Sharpton, Jackson, Lee, or Obama on this story?

Where is the media?

Once again the double standard is at play in the media because they believe this will further the agenda. Barack Obama is going to make race an issue in this election and I believe they are using this as an excuse to start this aspect of the campaign. This campaign will be designed to divide people over race and class and I am afraid that this is just the beginning.

I really hope Obama doesn’t go down that road. Thus far he hasn’t been racially divisive. I hope for the country’s sake he stays that way.

I sometimes wonder of the left is capable of responding in any other fashion to a tragedy such as this. The double standard is appalling.

I was very shocked when I heard the news of Trayvon Martin, and now I’m more shocked to see the media’s role in this issue.
They should be more sensible dealing with such issues.

It’s a horrible tragedy, and Zimmerman himself is devastated. Race has nothing to do with it, stand your ground laws have nothing to do with it. It’s a shame it’s so politicized.
