ObamaNation: Mormon Edition

Mitt Romney is a Mormon.  Americans distrust Mormons because of that whole polygamy thing.  In fact, Mormonism might have cost Mitt his victory in South Carolina.  Exit polling taken in South Carolina revealed 27% of those polled said that a candidate’s religious affiliation mattered “a great deal” and, out of those 27%, only 9% voted for Mitt.

Newt “God forgives me” Gingrich won by 12 points… so I think the argument can be made that were Romney a nice little Episcopalian he very well might have won.

We think Mittens will do better in Florida and Newty, well, his 15 minutes are about up.
