James Rucker “Celebrates Diversity” By Saying Turn off Fox News

The more the “celebrate diversity” crowd on the Left turns its back on its mantra the more they expose themselves as the shallow, self serving bunch they are.

The latest movement?

Turn off Fox News.

Here is the email from James Rucker, co-founder (along with disgraced Obama “Green Czar” Van Jones) of Color of Change which advocates:

For years Fox News has used lies, distortions, and race-baiting to divide America. They’ve accused the first Black president of being a racist. They advanced a ruthless smear that cost Shirley Sherrod her job. And now Fox host Glenn Beck says he will “reclaim” the legacy of the civil rights movement by holding his “Restoring Honor” rally on the same day and place as Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

Recently, it’s gotten dangerous. Last month, a heavily armed man got into a gun fight with police after he was pulled over on his way to kill people at the Tides Foundation — a non-profit that was little known until Glenn Beck repeatedly demonized it, claiming it to be the center of a great conspiracy. Last year, Kansas doctor George Tiller was gunned down while at church⁷ after Bill O’Reilly called him a Nazi, a “baby killer,” and warned of “Judgment Day.”

Fox is a poison, and it spreads and is legitimized partly through public TVs. It’s why today we’re launching Turn Off Fox — the first part of a larger campaign to diminish the influence of Fox. It’s about getting Fox turned off in stores, restaurants, and other public places.

Liberals never fight fair whether it is forming a fake Tea Party to either discredit the movement or to help one of their own Liberals.  The mastermind behind a fake Tea Party in Michigan has resigned after being exposed for the fraud that he is:

The Oakland County Democratic Party says it has requested and accepted the resignation of operations director Jason Bauer in the wake of accusations he notarized campaign filings for a fake Tea Party candidate.

Or what about pretending you are a Tea Party but, in fact, you’re not?

According to the Las Vegas Sun, an unknown group calling themselves “Tea Party of Nevada”(TPN), has just filed documents to become an official political party in Nevada, with the intent of posting a candidate to run against 4-time incumbent Harry Reid and his Republican challenger.

Western Representation PAC, an active coalition of Tea Party activists in Nevada, expressed shock over the new Tea Party group. “We have no idea who these people are … the patriots who have built the Tea Party movement aren’t the people behind the [Tea Party of Nevada.]”

Or what about Liberals who have called and emailed in so many death threats that the Conservative organization Freedom Works has to move to more secure offices?

The grass-roots conservative FreedomWorks organization has received so many death threats in the run-up to the midterm elections that the organization is moving its headquarters.

“Yes, it’s constant, and we are going to have to move up to Capitol Hill,” FreedomWorks spokesman Adam Brandon tells Newsmax.

The threats are coming in via phone and e-mail, and have escalated to the point that the organization has decided it must move into a high-security building near the Capitol building.

Like other Leftist violence and techniques used by the followers of Mao, Castro, Chavez, and Lenin it seems as though Liberals will stop at nothing to shut down their opposition.

Rucker’s “Help Turn Off Fox” movement is just another attempt to silence any opposing voices.  He continues on his Huffington Post article making three charges against Fox:

1. Fox News divides our country
2. Fox News is dangerous
3. Fox News Channel isn’t really news

Of course, Mr. Rucker conveniently ignores a recent Harvard University study that shows Fox News was, in fact, the most Fair and Balanced of all the broadcast news networks:

Fox News Channel’s coverage was more balanced toward both parties than the broadcast networks were. On FOX, evaluations of all Democratic candidates combined were split almost evenly – 51% positive vs. 49% negative, as were all evaluations of GOP candidates – 49% positive vs. 51% negative, producing a perfectly balanced 50-50 split for all candidates of both parties.

To the Left, challenging any Liberal on many of their silly beliefs is “dangerous” because it exposes them as being idiots.  Take the Leftist Contessa Brewer from MSNBC who was upset that the Times Square bomber wasn’t a white, conservative, male.

Mr. Rucker even provides help for how to get private businesses to censor themselves if they dare play Fox News:

Some people watch Fox at home because it reflects their view of the world; but there are others who see it on TV in public places and assume that it’s legitimate news. Fox News is often on in bars, restaurants, airport lounges, stores — appearing to be real news, while spreading lies and fomenting hate and division.

The goal of Turn Off Fox is to reduce the number of public TVs showing Fox News, while spreading the word about Fox’s poison (and how it works) to those who don’t know.

And that’s the thing about Liberals… they don’t want dissent, conflicting ideas, differing agendas… they simply want everything to be their way.  Because life isn’t like that and people do have differing ideas Liberals, to avoid having their heads explode, rationalize it like this:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And it’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

That was said by Barack Obama.  His popularity rating is almost as low as our nation’s unemployment rate is high.
