Eric Holder's Absurd Views of Terrorism
Democrats are soft on terrorism, let’s call it for what it really is. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama all have shown themselves for what they are: apologists with major blind spots when it comes to terrorists. Jimmy Carter stood by as the Soviets invaded Afghanistan and didn’t deal with the American hostages taken when the Shah of Iran was overthrown. Bill Clinton was more interested in “doing business” with China (including giving away our military secrets with Ron Brown) and hand-dipped cigars than in dealing with al Qaeda, and Barack Obama treats the 9-11 bunch as a law enforcement matter.
Our attorney general, Eric Holder, had this to say about going after terrorists:
Terrorists in court “have the same rights that Charles Manson would have, any other kind of mass murderer,” the attorney general said. “It doesn’t mean that they’re going to be coddled, it doesn’t mean that they’re going to be treated with kid gloves.”
Mr. Holder fails to understand Charles Manson was and is an American citizen, and the CIA/FBI/NSA didn’t collect sensitive intelligence on him and his operations. Manson and his gang also didn’t kill 3,000+ people.
Eric Holder also stated:
Holder sternly rejected criticism from GOP members of a House Appropriations subcommittee, who contend it is too dangerous to put terror suspects on trial in federal civilian courts as Holder has proposed.
I wonder why, then, the Obama administration has withdrawn support to try the 9-11 Three in NYC and has also been hedging its bets about trying them in civilian courts.
Mr. Holder also fails to mention that, in other cases, the Obama administration has decided to try suspected terrorists in military tribunals.
The fact is, trying terrorists in civilian courts changes the way in which highly sensitive intelligence is presented. In most cases, for the U.S. to reveal the intelligence for a civilian court to consider the source and method of how that intelligence was gathered would also have to be revealed, putting the ability for intelligence agencies to gather more intelligence at risk, not to mention the lives of their confidential sources.
The risk of revealing sensitive information is not unfounded:
The attorney general also acknowledged an ongoing probe into whether defense teams representing Guantanamo Bay detainees may have wrongly obtained photographs of CIA interrogators — pictures that could, some fear, endanger those interrogators.
Democrats have shown no reluctance to politicize the gathering of intelligence – with some officials like Nancy Pelosi even lying about what they knew and when they knew it.
It is no surprise, then, that when Barack Obama was running for president dictators around the world – from North Korea to Libya and Cuba – cheered him on.
The Obama administration – and Democrats in general – are putting this country at risk with their view of terrorism as a civilian law enforcement matter and Eric Holder, having made the statements that he has in the past, needs to step down.

Harrison, if you participated in my “biggest hack” poll a while back, I certainly hope you voted for Holder.
He’s King Midas in reverse. Everything he touches turns completely craptastic.
He needs to go.
