Slightly off-topic… I am not understanding this meme of “Obama’s outstanding campaign”. It was mediocre at best and which was covered for by a fawning media that was opposed by a horribly-run campaign saddled with the legacy of an unpopular outgoing President.

Given that scenario, surely an “outstanding campaign” would’ve won by more than 6 points, no?
