So now he's using more energy from the grid after "going green?" I concur with Cracked World's assessment.

BTW, here's a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbmnODQPFcM" rel="nofollow">fun Al Gore diddy</a>.

As much as 300 regular homes!?!? He must be growing pot in his basement. That would explain all the power he uses wouldn't it?

By the way I was under the impression that Brit was referring to his energy Bill being 10% higher therefore his green machines aren't doing jack to curtail his carbon foot print.

I think how much power he uses IS relevent. After all, isn't the point of being "green" using fewer resources? His single house uses more power than 300-and-some regular houses. And because we don't know what percentage his newly installed "green" power provides we can only assume he is still not being very "earth friendly."

And if you think all those "green" power generating sources don't produce a TON of evil CO2 during their manufacture, shipping, and installation then you'd be very wrong.

The point is that it is irrelevant how much power he is using. The only thing that is relevant is how much pollution he is causing.

Joe,

The point was that since Gore has gone "Green" his house uses 10% more power than it did when he was "on the grid." And he only switched to his "green" power because he was busted for using so much juice in the first place.
