How Martha Coakley Blew Her Lead in Massachusetts: Jumping in Pools
Our friends at Jumping in Pools created a tidy graph of Scott Brown’s dramatic rise in the polls… quite astounding when you consider he was virtually unknown when he started his campaign and how Democratic Massachusetts generally is.
Looking around the internet, I noticed a severe lack of graphical annotations of the Massachusetts polls between Scott Brown and Martha Coakley. So I put the impetus on myself and created one, to show exactly how badly Coakley has squandered her gigantic lead and how bad she has run her campaign.

Words cannot describe just how badly a campaign that woman ran. She deserves to lose on principle alone – for completely taking for granted the democratic process of selling yourself and your ideas to the electorate. For this alone she needs to be punished.
Brown needs at least a 4-5 point margin to cushion himself against Dem tactics tomorrow. Frankly, I’m skeptical.

Arrogance, among a litany of other things, will ultimately be the downfall of liberalism. They are in the habit of assuming the electorate are stupid and gullible. I sincerely hope the voters of Massachusetts prove them wrong.
