Just Politics..? Makes Google's Page Rank of 4

I started this blog in February of 2009. Page Rank is a key metric as to how popular a website is in the Google world. 95% of search engine traffic from Just Politics..? comes from Google. They are a force which cannot be ignored although Page Rank is not as important as it was 3 or 4 years ago a higher rank does not hurt.
Page Rank goes from 0 to 10 and nobody really knows what makes one site a 4 and another a 5 although quality links, traffic, and content are crucial.
Google gets a Page Rank of 10, the highest. eBay gets a Page Rank of 8. CNN is a 10, MSNBC an 8.
The difference between a 2 and a 3 is much larger than it sounds… it is an exponentially larger number. Just Politics..? was a 3 until recently, now it is a 4!
If you haven’t done so already check your site’s Page Rank here. You may be pleasantly surprised. I know I was.

Since You link to me in your sidebar, your pagerank helps my pagerank. My blog recently went from a pagerank 1 to a 3, and this is probably largely attributable to being linked on Just politics. You can check the number of inlinks on your site by going to the yahoo site explorer:
https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
If you search my blog there, you will see that I am getting a ton of links from you, since every page on your blog contains a link to my site, and every post is a page. Since you post so frequently, you really help us out. In addition, most of the people that I am linked with on my blog I found through your blog.
For this reason, if you are going to link with other bloggers, it is most advantageous if they put the link on their home or index page sidebar. Bloggers who create a separate page for their blogroll aren’t really helping much.
Congrats, on the pagerank upgrade, it is pretty likely that my site’s pagerank jumped at the same time.

Congratulations! You deserve it for your well-documented posts. Also for all the links. The only blog where I can read Le Monde International. Also Political Center, Left and Right.
