I'm just looking at the trends and reflecting on human nature. All countries fall for the same reasons in the end.

I have little hope for a population who prefers reality TV, doesn't know who is Vice President, and makes poor dietary decisions and, as a result, is mostly fat or obese.

Using the normal processes you are very much correct. We may have a country that is divided into groups and catagories but at the end of the day the majority wants free enterprise an less government. Most people do not want a weak government where comprmise and payoffs end up benefitting only the priveleged and the cost goes to the silent working class. There are voices everywhere, each slowly throwing in the towel buying guns and ammo because they believe there will soon be a revolution. Is this great nation about to take the same course the Roman empire!!! Those voices desperately need a mouth piece, a common sense visionary. One who will stand up and draw the line in the sand that enough is enough. If that is in the form of a third party then so be it. THIS current management body is crushing the American image and it's spirit. China just about owns us, third world nations threaten us daily. Our own people are starving, inner cities are crumbling and yet we are giving billions to the rest of the world. Unemployment is out of site, people keep collecting because they can and then they work under the table and take jobs away from those that ARE still trying. The people I talk to, young, old, rich ,average, white, black, and others agree. A change in the way government is not an option, it is a necessity

With the Electoral College a 3rd party is almost impossible. At the end of the day, I blame human nature and the voters. Human nature because as much as people say they are against pork they want it for themselves and the voters are at fault because they keep re-electing these people!
