Obama's Jimmy Carter Style Not Making Friends – Surprised?

Thank you Jimmy Carter!
Jimmy Carter made his administration all about “human rights.” He indicated to our ally, the Shah of Iran, that he should treat the radical Islamic followers of Khomeini nicer. He withdrew support from the Shah and he was soon overthrown. The Iranian radicals who took control of that country repaid that favor by taking Americans hostage. Jimmy Carter then met with Soviet Premier Leonid Brezhnev who promptly invaded Afghanistan, unleashing a chain of events that ended in 9-11. After the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan Jimmy Carter said:
I can’t believe the Russians lied to me.
Carter, believing, like Obama, that the U.S. was a big problem in the world, gave away the Panama Canal and lifted travel bans to Communist Cuba, North Vietnam, and Cambodia. By any reasonable person’s measurements, Carter was a complete failure as president.
Once again the winds of change are blowing in the Middle East and once again we have a new, young, untested Democratic politician running the White House who seems to think, like Carter did, that the U.S. is the center of what’s wrong in the world. Why else would Obama go on a worldwide apology tour?
It seems as though Obama’s olive branches are not meeting with the success only a naive person would think they would:
Again and again, Obama made symbolic and concrete gestures toward some of the countries giving the United States the hardest time — Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Venezuela.
In the past two weeks alone, high-ranking officials from Cuba, Iran and Venezuela have personally insulted Obama or rejected U.S. appeals for cooperation. In some cases, they did both. North Korea continues to give forever-shifting signals about its willingness to engage with the rest of the world.
Is this really a surprise? When Leftist President Hugo Chavez spoke at the UN during Bush’s term he said he could still smell “sulfur” the next day (Libs creamed in their pants). When Chavez spoke at the Copenhagen “global warming” conference he made the same remark – this time about Obama. No love there and it wasn’t widely reported, either.
And in Iran we have the population yearning to breathe free from the oppressive yoke of that country’s theocratic leaders who have wrecked the economy, mismanaged their oil funds, and murdered unarmed protectors. Just as when the presidential election there was stolen Obama has done nothing and said little. And the most high profile visit in over 20 years is still on… a meeting with failed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.
“The wrong message would be sent to the Iranian people by such a high-level visit: The U.S. loves dictatorial regimes,” said Hossein Askari, a professor at George Washington University and former adviser to Iranian governments.
Even if the latest series of crackdowns weren’t going on one has to wonder why, with all of the stalling, posturing, and threatening Iran’s leadership has been doing why on earth would they deserve such high level recognition by the U.S. government?
The only answer is a simple one: Obama is a naive, inexperienced leader who is only sinking America deeper into the Jimmy Carteritis we suffered through during the 1970s.

This reminds me of an old saying… “If one is kind to the cruel, they will end up being cruel to the kind.” We see that Obama is determined to appease evil with his kind gestures, while inflicting further harm onto America, the Big Satan of the world.
While Obama continues to appease & coddle evil (being kind to the cruel) he is also fiercely pressuring Israel into kicking out the Jews who are living in biblical land known as Judea and Samaria, re-named ‘The West Bank’ by unbelievers. Of course we are all supposed to believe, as Obama and his appeased ones believe, in this much- touted lie about the “Palestinian people” being an Arab-Muslim people. A believable lie only when we simply ignore that part of history where once ‘both’ Jews and Arabs lived in Palestine (which is now ISRAEL, formerly known as Palestine to both the Arabs AND Jews, this was BEFORE the Jewish people declared sovereignty AGAINST their fellow “Palestinian/Muslim neighbors” who were trying to kill them.) Well, it looks like this means America will need to give back their land to the Indians and Mexicans too. Afterall, it is only “fair” that America chips in towards making our world a peaceful one, with true justice for all.
And so, we are being told that our real hope for world peace will only be realized when Israel is finally destroyed by it’s enemies with the help of the world- pressuring Israel into giving more and more of it’s land away to these peaceful Muslims/ Fictional Palestinians. Simply because, after Israel fully commits to it’s slow and certain suicide (supported by the world) can this long-awaited-for world peace finally spring forth from Jerusalem and shine ever so brightly for the whole world to see.. and experience. But we must NEVER FORGET that first Israel needs to be pushed into the sea before the world’s vision of peace can become reality.. and such peace can only bring good things to America, The Big Satan.. ironically, it appears that America is looking to live up to it’s new title.
The bottom line is this. “World peace” for Obama (and for those tyrants, terrorists, and other psychopaths whom Obama loves to appease with kind gestures and promises of hope & change) also means ignoring that little eternal covenant made with the Jewish people and the land of Israel, made by ‘Our Creator.’ Well, it is about time we unite together (the United Nations is something like the tower of Babel) and tell ‘Our Creator’ to mind his own business– oh wait, that’s right it is His business, whoops!
It looks like we shall continue to enjoy the global terrorism, global weather disasters, global economic challenges which inspire chaos and poverty, and the looming threat of global pandemics.. until the world learns how to take a hint, I presume.
Peace out.

You say it so well, Harrison. I never thought that I would see (in my lifetime) a repeat of Carter’s inefficient, dangerous foreign policies. Amazing that a new Democratic President hasn’t understood the damage Carter’s naivety created. It was obvious at the time. Presently the problem is compounded by the fact that there don’t seem to be a Reagan on the horizon. Who will save us from Obama’s foolish appeasement politics? Is there anyone big enough and willing to jump into the arena?
