Yemen is looking like the next Sudan or maybe Afghanistan. Will President Obama do anything?
Hundreds of al-Qaeda militants are planning terror attacks from Yemen, the country’s Foreign Minister said today.
Abu Bakr al-Qirbi appealed for more help from the international community to help to train and equip counter-terrorist forces.
His plea came after an al-Qaeda group based in Yemen claimed responsibility for the failed Christmas Day airliner bomb plot.
Dr al-Qirbi said: “Of course there are a number of al-Qaeda operatives in Yemen and some of their leaders. We realise this danger.
“They may actually plan attacks like the one we have just had in Detroit. There are maybe hundreds of them — 200, 300.”
Dr al-Qirbi said it was the “responsibility” of countries with strong intelligence capabilities to warn states such as Yemen about the movements of terror suspects.
The United States, Britain and the European Union could do a lot to improve Yemen’s response to militants on its own soil, he added.
“We have to work in a very joint fashion in partnership to combat terrorism,” he said. “If we do, the problem will be brought under control.
It doesn’t look good for America as Homeland Security Secretary made this statement after the failed bombing attempt:
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says there is no indication that the man who attempted to destroy an airliner in Detroit on Christmas Day is part of a larger terrorist plot.
She also said the “system worked” when clearly it didn’t (she later revised that statement when she was exposed for a fool).
The terrorist attacks of one year from now are being planned now… what will Obama do? Will he send in American troops, the FBI, or other people or just wait three days to make a statement (as he did when the bomb failed to go off in Detroit)?

I found J-No’s response to be ridiculous. Every single jihadist on the face of this planet is part of “a larger terrorist plot.” I don’t care whether they are affiliated with Hamas, AQ, Taliban, Hezbollah… they are all united in their hatred of the West and are fatally committed to its destruction with the fattest target being this country.
She needs to go.

Of course, it’s all part of a bigger plan. From the Fort Hood shooting, the incidents on planes, when “profiles’ people (twice) refused to obey flight attendants, to this twarted terrorist attack…Serial of attempts to create fear, to intimidate, and warnings of worse to come. I’m surprised that the Administration and the media do not connect those events together.
