The EPA's Lisa Jackson: Denier-in-Chief?
Following Obama’s wishes, the EPA is set to regulate CO2 the way it would any other harmful emission, paving the way to administer this with fines:
EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson dismissed GOP calls to delay a critical finding on greenhouse emissions in light of hacked emails from climate scientists.
“There is nothing in the hacked emails that undermines the science upon which this decision is based,” Jackson said in announcing the finding this afternoon. She said the controversial messages dealt with only a tiny fraction of the strong evidence of global warming.
Of course, plants produce plenty of CO2 as do all living things. One wonders whether facial meters will be required so we can all pay more unless we exhale less.

Doesn’t this effectively render cap and trade moot?

There was a good article from the WSJ about this. The EPA process bypasses Congress and will be much more onerous for businesses so the point was that Congress would pass Cap and Trade rather than let the EPA “manage” CO2. Very undemocratic.

It absolutely amazes me. Either they haven’t made the connection that the data they keep referring to as evidence that AGW still exists despite the e-mails has been manipulated for decades and they too have been lied to – or – they just don’t care and are only concerned with the agenda. I cannot believe that these people really come out and flat out lie to everyone – knowing everyone knows its a lie – and continue as though nothing just happened! Amazing!
