Conservation is the best way to prolong the resources that we have. Pumping trillions of government dollars into green energy is not the best use of our resources. Governments are very poor methods of picking technological winners and for distributing financial capital.

We already have huge energy reserves awaiting us - nuclear power - which could allow us to stretch petroleum reserves further.

I do not think spending $889,000.00 to create one job is very sustainable.

(In Response to: Harrison Price: Solar energy is only green when it in the red )

This is a very interesting article. It actually made me think. Yes, it does cost allot more to produce green energy and in the end certain jobs will be lost due to the allocation of the money ”green workers/project” require. I agree completely with that it will cost more but that doesn’t take away from the fact that ”Going Green” has to be done.

”Going Green” will be a complex process to complete. Even for those people that don’t understand or believe the problem of global warming, they have to understand that eventually we will run out of resources. Let me remind you that unlike the controversy of global warming truth, running out of resources will happen and is happening as we speak.

So regardless of if you believe in global warming or not you have to understand that ”Going Green” is not just better but its also the only way to go for the future. Although it will be expensive and cause some trouble it is much better to ease into it right now rather then when it is to late.

Keep in mind that even if your Anti-Green that every time you throw something away that could possible be recycled or you step into your hummer, your using resources that become less and less the more you use. If not for the sake of our planet still try to recycle and conserve resources until we have the power to make sufficient alternate resources.

If we don’t you will look back onto today and say ”Wow, I wish we would’ve conserved resources” as you stand at the gas station and prepare to pay $7 and up for a gallon of gas and since I believe/understand global warming you will probably also be sweating profusely due to the rise of temperatures worldwide.
