Klimategate: The White House's Carol Browner Responds

So some scientists have been fudging numbers and punishing those who don’t believe in their little global warming cult? One of the biggest frauds of the past 50 years is unwinding and what does Carol Browner, Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy think about the whole thing?
“What am I going to do?” asked Browner. “Side with the couple of naysayers out there, or the 2,500 scientists?” — who’ve drunk the Kool-Aid. “I’m sticking with the 2,500 scientists.”
Speaking of scientists and scientific integrity… how many “experts” said the sun revolved around the Earth?
I guess we should ask Ms. Browner who the “denier” is now.

Somewhere in the middle lies the truth. To dismiss global warming out of hand would be a mistake.

Cherlock,
For several years now, warm-mongers have been claiming that the science is settled, there is nothing left to debate. Now you are claiming that because a significant amount of the research has been severely compromised we need to find some reconciliatory truth “somewhere in the middle” (hardly a scientific approach), and this middling truth is that we shouldn’t dismiss global warming (what is the difference between your conclusion and the conclusion of the “scientists”? This doesn’t look like “middle-ground” to me.). If the people who want so desperately to prove that global warming is truth, couldn’t prove it and had to resort to telling bald-faced lies, then I am going to stick with the only truth we can pull out of this mess: WE DON’T KNOW.

What we do know is that some of the leading advocates of climate change theories i) admit to manipulating data ii) deliberately try to hide their data so it cannot be challenged, iii) seek to discredit those who disagree with them, iv) seek to destroy evidence and violate applicable freedom of information laws.
Any reasonable person reading these e-mails would be very concerned about the validity of the science produced by these climate change advocates. Clearly they are motivated by their own agenda and not science.
