Climate Change: Do You See a Pattern?

I guess in 100,000 or 200,000 years from now we’ll know if we’re following the established temperature pattern or not regarding “global warming.”  But let’s just spend a few tens of trillions of dollars anyway, shall we?

  • I believe you are overlooking the fact that the cycle is escalating at a faster than usual rate. Also, even the cyclical changes pose dangers, as even the long term changes that would happen threaten billions of people worldwide. You just have to ask yourself if they’re worth saving or not.

  • I think that human activities are contributing to global warming. I know weather and other geological/meteorological events are cyclical, however, I genuinely believe that our pollution also plays a role in increasing global temperatures.

    I also believe that we can do something about. I think we have come so far as a specie technologically that if we pool our efforts we can change things on the planetary scale.
