Obama (Tries to) Explain His Economics Knowledge
Some of these are real gems. Obama is the nation’s CEO?
For the record… oil companies make less per gallon of gas than Pepsi makes per gallon of soda. Where do all of those evil profits go? Towards oil exploration and R&D! How evil! The U.S. government and states make more money per gallon because of taxes than the companies that sell the gas do!

slightly OT, but the POTUS’ speech before the UN was absolutely pathetic. Interesting that he shared the stage with Khadafi(sp).

Oh my God I went cross-eyed. Who listens to this imbecile? I have always stated that he knows nothing about economics, save for what can be manipulated to pull the emotional strings of discontent. Demonization and antipathy are his modi operandi(pl), and the unions and community organizations are the carriers of his disease.

Like at Ford, maybe the president can fire the CEO and replace him with someone else?

No, Obama doesn’t know a damn thing about economics; He rides the populist pander of how evil and morally reprehensible profits are all the time: When Obama (and those that hate oil companies) derisively speaks of oil profits, he conveniently never mentions that government collects huge amounts of taxes when profits rise. Who benefits from that? The sad thing about all of this is that citizens that know about as much as Obama does on economics (not much) are fooled by his rhetoric regarding the economics of health care and even cap and trade–two schemes that will be a great burden on the American economy.
