I suppose it’s only fair. Judging by the Times’ plunging stock value and rapidly shrinking readership, fans of conservative talk radio are not fans of the paper. But this is a little over-the-top, even for this discredited fishwrap. Call It Ludacris: The Kinship Between Talk Radio and Rap Hour after hour, rant after rant, it is a feast of words and feverish emotion, interrupted only by regular commercials and the occasional call from the awe-struck fan. I’d heard these voices before, but only in sound bites.

I don’t watch cop shows, but apparently all the crimes to be solved are committed by intelligent psychopaths.  In real life, most criminals are very stupid.  John Gotti had an IQ of 110 and that allowed him to take over the mafia. The really smart ones fascinate us.        The Unabomber Ted Kaczynski was tested in the 5th grade and had an IQ of 167-about one in 70,000.  He was able to enroll in Harvard at the age of 16 and get his PhD. in Math from the University of Michigan.

Right Wing News , Daily Pundit , and other eminentoes of the conservative blogosphere have criticized Charles Johnson (or dropped him from their blogrolls), whose Little Green Footballs blog used to be as important as any. Johnson has taken more and more to attacking the religious right and such conservative stars as Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck. He also wages a campaign against the Tea Party movement because some of the protesters are racists, gun nuts, birthers and religious fundamentalists who believe Barack Obama is the Antichrist.

Really! There are some good recipes with the use of the Oak Tree nut — but I digress! Some of us (who shall remain nameless) had to Google and find out exactly who and what is A C O R N . Not everyone in America are staunch political activists.  We don’t spend our waking hours looking under rocks or into someone’s raunchy crevice, looking for dirt [God knows what ever else] against those whose political views differ from ours.

Is President Barack Obama over exposed? In the sense that anyone selling magazines or newspapers or collectible plates needs to prominently feature his visage in order to maybe turn a profit in 2009, then, yes, very much so. But what about all the media appearances he’s been making? Haven’t we heard prominent media types inveigh against this? Yes. Yes we have. This is because nobody wants to book Obama for an interview and then watch him give that same interview again and again and again and again.

I love how all these nutjobs  are expressing their alleged conservative rage at what a “nazi” Obama is by goose-stepping down the street in Washington when Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh tell them to. I keep hearing that the “radical left” is in charge.  What radical left?  Those mincy-mouthed Democrats we elected to do something who haven’t done much of shit?  Obama’s not a citizen.  He’s Stalin.  He’s Lenin.  Hitler.  Satan.  Did you know the major news networks didn’t report on that rally?

The timing of the announcement could not have been more appalling. In fact, I cannot recall any recent example of “What on Earth could they have been thinking?” that is more historically insensitive and potentially more damaging.
