President Carter brought it out in the open : “When a radical fringe element of demonstrators and others begin to attack the president of the United States as an animal or as a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler or when they wave signs in the air that said we should have buried Obama with Kennedy, those kinds of things are beyond the bounds,” the Democrat who served from 1977-1981 told students at Emory University.

Former House Republican whip Roy Blunt was a featured speaker Friday afternoon at the Values Voter Summit, and he had a little parable to share with the crowd. Conservatives shouldn’t get too upset about the way liberals have taken over Washington since President Obama won election, he said. “We’ve got a reason to explain why we believe in the kind of America we believe in,” Blunt said.

I’ve been ready to write “It’s been a long wee-week” since Wednesday. Let’s start at the very beginning… Sunday.  I went to Church twice.  Oh, sorry: this isn’t about that. Sunday… OK, maybe I should start with today and work backwards.  Today, Friday , we find out that Michelle Obama’s yen to do some grocery shopping cost the taxpayers about a jillion dollars, but more importantly, is single-handedly responsible for raising the earth’s temperature by six degrees fahrenheit and

Baseball may be America’s favorite pastime, but liberals have a favorite pastime of their own; stretching and warping the Constitution. They’ve been at it so long that it has become a sport which they excel at and one at which daily practice is strongly encouraged, if not already mandated, for any aspiring leftist.
Of course, they only succeed in this pursuit when discussing the Constitution amongst themselves.

Here are the 75 United States Members of Congress who voted to keep taxpayer funding flowing to President Barack Obama’s core constituency, ACORN, even after video of ACORN advisors enabling a self-proclaimed pimp of underage prostitution surfaced on Fox News.   One has to ask: How stupid are these members when all they had to do was vote yes to defund ACORN and later have the money put back into another bill? Is this the entire collection of communist leaning United States House members?

Media Matters has a new SmearBuster mini-site up. They list Hot Air as a “smearer” for doing two things. Thing one is calling Van Jones a Truther. Unfortunately for Media Matters, the best they can come up with to refute this charge is a tepid statement byPolitifact.com. They highlight a paragraph which I guess they find exculpatory : We reviewed the petition, and its most incendiary language is in the form of hanging questions, such as, “How could Flight 77, which reportedly hit the Pentagon, have flown back towards Washington D.C.

House votes to defund ACORNThe House voted Thursday to deny all federal funds for ACORN in a GOP-led strike against the scandal-tainted community organizing group that comes just three days after the Senate took similar action. “ACORN has violated serious federal laws, and today the House voted to ensure that taxpayer dollars would no longer be used to fund this corrupt organization,” said second-ranking House Republican Eric Cantor of Virginia.

[This is a repost of something I wrote at BLACK AGENDA REPORT. Extra material added here for the RedStateRevolt.] Right now, I only feel comfortable among Americans who want peace, freedom and social justice. There’s all this talk talk talk in America about “who’s a racist?” and “you’re a racist?” and “I’m not a racist!” I am ethnically-different from practically every person in America.

We’ve heard about the wacko right wing Republicans; Rush Limbaugh is a perfect example. Watch him blame President Obama for black kids bullying a white kid: So, clearly the GOP politicians would distance themselves from such an extremist right? Wrong . Okay, here’s a tale that sheds some light on the whole question of whether Rush Limbaugh has become the new face of the GOP, something we debated here yesterday. Yesterday GOP Congressman Phil Gingrey of Georgia made some perfectly ordinary comments to The Politico about Rush Limbaugh.
