TAX-PAYING PATRIOTS MARCH ON WASHINGTON Angry White Dude has the advantage of having attended the 9/12 March on Washington when I listen to the inaccurate mainstream media reports of the event. It has been interesting, but not surprising, to listen to the usual liberal suspect talking heads try to paint the event as an extremist group of racists who cannot deal with having a black President. This has been the theme of the MSM since the tea party inception in February.

There are many people who share my views on the current administration who don’t think that comparing to leftist totalitarian regimes is useful.  One of the most outspoken on this is Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs .  Bookworm also suggested that it should not be done (also here ).  Even my fellow Protest Warriors argued against it.  Back when I suggested comparing the leftist demonstrators to Nazis, it was not so much because I view the leftist ideology as similar to

by Austin Hill at Townhall.com Michael Moore is releasing a new movie, and I’m sooo excited about it… More about me in a moment. First, the man who brought us Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9-11 is about to release a new film entitled Capitalism: A Love Story. Just as “Bowling” embodied Moore’s extreme left-wing view that gun rights are bad, and “Fahrenheit” embodied (among other things) the extreme left-wing belief that Iraqis enjoyed Saddam Hussein and President Bush made their lives worse, so also does “Love Story” advance another idea that is popular among American liberals today: capitalism is evil.

By Ronin,13 Sep, 09 Yesterday we saw several amazing things. Over a million Americans stood peacefully together in our nation’s capital protesting against a government they feel has lost its way. American’s that have never voiced an opinion in public made their voices heard. In this day and age, most people refuse to get involved, many are out only for themselves and many appear to care less about others. These Americans did care and more importantly, they acted. They stood together in peace united in purpose.

Dom Soto’s post on conservative columnist Jonathan Henke’s criticism of the Right’s “lunatic fringe” reminded us of the generally conservative Economist’s post-election analysis of the Republican’s loss. Lexington: Ship of fools (Excerpted) Nov 13th 2008 Political parties die from the head down JOHN STUART MILL once dismissed the British Conservative Party as the stupid party. Today the Conservative Party is run by Oxford-educated high-fliers who have been busy reinventing conservatism for a new era.

  • my brother came into town this weekend for the march on washington. he said he was awestruck but two things:
    1) the amount of people who showed.
    2) given the amount of people who showed up, there were no real troubles. it was a peaceful demonstration in every sense of the term.

my regret is that i couldn’t make it.
