While it simplifies some ideas overall it makes some solid points regarding Cap-and-Trade, Global Warmers, and economic health.

It is a gross exaggeration but if you read some of the stuff in that extra 320 pages put in at the last minute it’s not hard to see some of that happening.

If you consider the scope of the Federal Government now as compared with 100 years ago, then yes it is possible to see how this could come to pass. It won’t be tomorrow, probably won’t be in Obama’s presidency, but it could come.
When the federal income tax was passed by amendment to the Constitution, many warned that citizens would eventually bear a massive tax burden. Proponents of the amendment said it would never be more than 1%. That’s right 1%!!! Who was right? Give the Federal Government an inch and they will wield ever ounce of power they can get their hands on. Check your history books … that’s not a scare tactic, that’s historical fact!

I don’t think this video is as far fetched as some believe. The Waxman-Markey bill will make everything so expensive that it will reduce discretionary spending. Cap and Trade gives government more power.
