Newt’s Flame Out
Conspiracy theorists unite! Some will say all of the negative press from The Druge Report the other day painting Newt in a negative light is responsible for his decline in the polls. Drudge picks his favorites, that’s true, but few were disputing stories with titles like: INSIDER: GINGRICH REPEATEDLY...

Wacky Wednesday: Hollywood Hypocrisy: Robert Redford, Sundance Film Festival, and the 1%

Obama’s 1%: His Kids
After a series of raids by cities across America over the past week, the Occupy movement is largely dead according to Gateway Pundit as 5 occupiers were spotted in Chicago and 10 in New York City. Meanwhile, the battle against the 1% continues! Here’s how the 1% is reacting: Our kids are going...

Happy Meal Capitalists Defeat San Francisco Liberals
Nannies in San Francisco thwarted! While it doesn’t rank up there with Iran getting nuclear weapons, Capitol Commentary is pleased to report that the ban on Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s looks like it’s going to go down in flames as all Big Government/Nanny State laws should. The...

Harrison, he was standing in the road at the helipad, when I met him. my younger sister lived on deer creek road in malibu; where johnny lived.
Ed had come up by helicopter, to see Johnny.
he was standing in the road waiting for the pilot to pass him his bag, so he could get out of the middle of the road. yes the helipad was a spot in the middle of the road just two lanes wide, right in front of johnnys malibu estate.
he waved and said sorry. we waved and my sister screamed hey ed, bring me something to eat when you come up to see kaye. kaye was the woman who’s ranch my sister lived on. she was a good friend of most of hollywood as the wife of a prominent film producer.
sure enough, about 2 hrs later kaye called my sisters’ and told us to come up for dinner, and to say bye to ed. he was a very warm and funny guy who joked about feeling more secure since he was in the company of two authentic detroit killers.
yeah right… who couldn’t laugh at that. my sister all of 99 lbs drenched with her heavy weave wet; and me a svelte 130 lbs. we were just as amused as he was; and even more so that he stayed and shared a delicious dinner with us.
apparently, the food was from johnny’s fridge. he said johnny never went in the kitchen so he got a picnic basket and packed up dinner for us. he also called kaye to ask which wine to bring. such a guy. it was awesome.
he was a nice man, generous to a fault and funny as all get out. we will surely miss his spirit.
great post Harrison.
thanks for the comments earlier.
