President Obama on The View: “When your name is Barack Obama, it’s always going to be tight.”
Regardless of whether you think a U.S. president should visit a daytime talk show answering questions about Kim Kardashian or not, one thing Obama said was very troubling and that was in response to a question of whether or not it would be a tight re-election campaign against Mitt Romney or not. When...

Even though he’s a prisoner, is being jailed in Texas, and was sentenced to 17.5 years for making threats, Keith Judd wound up taking about 42% of the votes in West Virginia’s primary, possibly qualifying for a delegate (jury’s out on that one). President Obama’s poor showing...

Occupiers Go On Rampage in San Francisco’s Mission District… Maybe They’re Not the Friends of the 99%
Matt over at Conservative Hideout has done a great job covering the “Occupods” as he calls them. Capitol Commentary hasn’t covered these goons too much but on Monday night a bunch of them went on a rampage in the Mission District after “breaking away” (as the S.F. Comical...

Al Armendariz: "Vee hav vays of crucifying you!" If there ever was a better reason to reign in not only the self-righteous EPA but Government in general I can’t think of one. Here is what EPA administrator Al Armendariz said in this 2010 speech: “I was in a meeting once and I gave...

Harrison, he was standing in the road at the helipad, when I met him. my younger sister lived on deer creek road in malibu; where johnny lived.
Ed had come up by helicopter, to see Johnny.
he was standing in the road waiting for the pilot to pass him his bag, so he could get out of the middle of the road. yes the helipad was a spot in the middle of the road just two lanes wide, right in front of johnnys malibu estate.
he waved and said sorry. we waved and my sister screamed hey ed, bring me something to eat when you come up to see kaye. kaye was the woman who’s ranch my sister lived on. she was a good friend of most of hollywood as the wife of a prominent film producer.
sure enough, about 2 hrs later kaye called my sisters’ and told us to come up for dinner, and to say bye to ed. he was a very warm and funny guy who joked about feeling more secure since he was in the company of two authentic detroit killers.
yeah right… who couldn’t laugh at that. my sister all of 99 lbs drenched with her heavy weave wet; and me a svelte 130 lbs. we were just as amused as he was; and even more so that he stayed and shared a delicious dinner with us.
apparently, the food was from johnny’s fridge. he said johnny never went in the kitchen so he got a picnic basket and packed up dinner for us. he also called kaye to ask which wine to bring. such a guy. it was awesome.
he was a nice man, generous to a fault and funny as all get out. we will surely miss his spirit.
great post Harrison.
thanks for the comments earlier.
