The only problem with that theory is N. Korea has been hostile towards the U.S. since the Korean war in the 1950s and Iran since the Revolution in 1979.

I wasn't "blaming" Obama for the way those countries are only how his behavior towards them will probably not improve the situation going forward.

Harrison, you're forgetting one thing. The issues you bring up are all Bush's fault. Had Bush resigned before he was born, Ahmadinejad wouldn't even be president and PyongYang would have replaced Cancun for spring break. Don't you dare blame Obama.

Good point. I think because both are dictatorial regimes hostile towards the U.S. although they are not the same ideologically but both have very inefficient, and poor, economies.

i can't believe carter said that. it was his sterile foreign policy that saw the likes of ayatola part 1 (along with the abduction of numerous journalists) smear the US, as well as the invasion of afghanistan and didn't do a damn thing about it.

not to mention rampant inflation, unemployment, giving away the panama canal, and generally making the US a doormat for the middle east.

wait. i mean i can believe carter said that.
