		<description>I think these results are only a surprise to some because things like this are not reported nor does our news reflect these types of views.  One reason why newspapers are going down the toilet, I think, is because you have over 50% of the population not seeing their values reflected in their city&#039;s papers.  That&#039;s why I stopped reading my local paper and cancelled my subscription to Time and Newsweek.</description>

I must admit the results of this poll came as a big surprise to me, with more people identifying themselves as &quot;conservative&quot; than as &quot;moderate&quot;.  Maybe what the polls are confirming is that the 2008 election was more about &quot;punishing&quot; Bush than about electing Obama.  If this proves to be true, President Obama is going to have a very difficult time getting health care reform passed any time soon.
