The Wise White Male

The fact that Sotomayor made her comment about the “wise Latina” bothers me somewhat but my bigger issue is the press’ dodge of it.  In this spirit, I wonder what would have been the response had this been the case:

I guess that would be expecting too much from our Fourth Estate?
