The City is broke in large part because of their Liberal spending priorities and, ironically, the poorer people and middle class are the ones paying the price for it. I knew that even if the initiative passed, the NRA would take it to court and win. So, it was a waste of time and money but liberal politicians trying to score points with a rabid left (and also driven by a hatred of Bush) pushed on.
