"It's doable — and we can do it!"

"Ma Mitavanim!"
Great minds must think alike. The Guardian UK reports that Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, must have liked Obama’s campaign slogan of “Yes We Can” so much he adopted it for his own use. In 2005 it was the ungainly “It’s doable — and we can do it!” but for 2009 he’s adopted the trendier “Yes We Can” phrase.
Personally I prefer the more Communist sounding “It’s doable — and we can do it!” but certainly with Ahmadinejad’s having adopted Obama’s signature line things might be looking good for friendly relations between the two administrations.
Both leaders can learn something from one another. Ahmadinejad could learn some fashion style from Obama and Obama could learn how to silence the opposition. I’m sure that now they are both using the same slogans they will learn how much they really have in common.
And, for the record, it was Obama who came up with the phrase, not Ahmadinejad. See, Obama has only been president for a little over 100 days and already leaders are starting to come around to his way of thinking!
