They absolutely hate opposing views and generally chalk those different ideas as born of ignorance or some other nonsense. Facts become lies and half-truths in their enlightened eyes and anyone who doesn't toe the party line is either an idiot or wasn't properly "taught" how to think. Journalists, by the way, should seek the unbiased truth in any issue. All journalists are biased -- the good ones know they're biased and fight against the urge to report their opinions as the facts of the matter. By the way, I've added you to my blog roll.
